Things are just plain BUSY for me in Guatemala, but it is great! My schedule is getting hectic and just feels like everyone has spring fever here! That is no excuse for not writing, but I promise "I am getting internet soon." I have said it before (for months now) but we really got the box from the internet company yesterday so it should be ready by Tuesday (Guatemalan time, so I am just hoping by March!).
The weather is beautiful right now. Today is almost cloudless with a gentle breeze and we just had an hour picnic where I got to bust out both my line dancing and double dutch skills! Lucky me!! It is a wonderful time to be in Guatemala.
I have also started teaching English to the guys involved in Global Soccer Ministry. I have wanted to figure out a way to work with them and I am very excited to be able to serve in this way. They are looking for conversational English, but we still have to start at the beginning.
Tomorrow night is Prom "backFlash"! Yes I know that does not make much sense, but we are having a Prom Flashback party where everyone is coming dressed up! I am the lucky one who found my dress off the back of a Garbage Truck! It is peach with a nice lacy overlay! I will provide pictures next week!
