Bienvenidos a Miami!

Last weekend, I met mom and dad in Miami for a long weekend! We decided that July to December was a long time to be away and October was the perfect time to get together (plus UGA had an off week!). So we all flew into Miami on Friday night (between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m.) and stayed the night near the airport. We then went to Isla Morada the next morning for 2 full days of relaxation. We had a wonderful time at Casa Morada. The weather was great! The food was incredible (and thankfully I was able to eat most things, just smaller portions than normal... which is not a bad thing! :) ) ! And of course, the company was perfect! Below are some photos of our weekend!






PS- Mom was super afraid that we would end up at a place like Jerry's Sunset Inn... she used to visit the island and stay at Jerry's in college!! So she was very insistent in finding a nice hotel (which we did!). The funny thing is... our hotel was formally Jerry's Sunset Inn!! Honestly!! Jerry sold half the property and the original building is now Casa Morada! Her biggest nightmare sort of came true!!! HA! FUN TIMES with the Seagraves!
